Fun and Fundraising

Throughout the course of the year, Hospice of the EUP holds several special events to raise money for operations and awareness of the services offered throughout the region and at Ball Hospice House.

Each October, local couples compete in Dancing with the Stars – a fundraiser for Hospice of the EUP. Community members support this effort by buying tickets, making cash donations for their favorite teams, and “buying votes” to help a couple win top honors. For more than 30 years, the Madrigal Dinner has transported guests back to medieval times for a night of food, entertain, and grog! A theme party like no other – the Madrigal is a holiday tradition for many families and a reliable source of funding for Hospice of the EUP. Click here for more information about this event.

Other special events happen at Ball Hospice House. A special flag folding ceremony, a butterfly-release memorial service and other thoughtful occasions are hosted on our grounds or in our building.
